“You are beautiful. I know because I made you.”

Loving Yourself...
Love of self can be a very selfish attitude. If we only focus on ourselves and feel that the world revolves around us, we can create a toxic environment. On the other hand, if we let the world crush us, and by our own discouraging thoughts and actions, our light can be extinguished. The Bible states, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalm 139:14). We realize that God has made us all special and unique. There will never be another You! "Fearfully" can be related to amazement. You are truly a miracle. God has made you because He loves you, takes great delight in you, and has a plan for you. Though we are frail and broken at times, we are still precious to Him.

So many people are trying to change themselves into something they were never meant to be. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to be your best or build up the talents and skills God gave you. Accept who you are. You may not be the prettiest in the room but some of the most beautiful people in the room have the love of God shining out making the whole room glow. You may not be the richest person you know, but you can build up riches in heaven by trusting and obeying the Lord. Find God's purpose for your life and live it to the full! Trust me, you are just wonderful the way you are.

Have you ever just thought, "I can't believe I just did that? I can't believe I just said that?" Sometimes, we have the best of intentions, but we get worn out, or get placed into difficult situations, or just are plain selfish, and our not so nice selves come out. Though it is not okay to be unkind, we are human. We struggle, we fail. FORGIVE YOURSELF. Ask those you hurt to forgive you, ask God to forgive you. Then do better.
